DCX Logic Privacy Policy
Who we are
DCX Logic LLC ("DCX Logic," "we," "us") builds software products. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers dcxlogic.com and every product listed below. Where a product works differently, its addendum at the end of this policy adds the details.
| Product | Where it runs | Details |
|---|---|---|
| HoW (House of Worship), a church management platform | how. | Addendum: HoW, below |
When a customer controls the data
Some of our products are used by organizations ("business customers"), such as churches using HoW, to manage information about their own people. For that information, the business customer decides what is collected and why, and we process it on its behalf under our agreement with it. We do not use it for our own purposes. For your own account with us, and for visitors to our websites, we decide how information is used, and this policy governs it.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash) for people who sign in.
- Customer records: information our business customers enter or collect through our products, such as contact details and activity records. Each product's addendum lists what it holds.
- Payment information: card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive only a token, the last four digits, and the payment status.
- Messaging information: mobile numbers, email addresses, SMS and email consent records (when, how, and on which form consent was given), opt-outs, and delivery status.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and logs of sign-ins and actions, kept for security and auditing.
How we use it
- To provide, secure, and support our products and services.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To send the texts and emails a business customer or you have asked for, and to honor opt-outs.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer records to advertise to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that run our services, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Railway | Application hosting |
| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Twilio | Sending and receiving text messages |
| Resend | Sending email |
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, where the buyer must honor this policy.
Text messaging (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the service providers that deliver the messages (such as our SMS provider). This applies to every text message program run through DCX Logic or any of its products.
You receive texts only after you opt in, for example by checking an unchecked consent box on a form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Each product that sends texts publishes its own program terms, linked from its addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as the customer's account is active, and delete them within 60 days after the customer closes its account, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We keep opt-out and consent records for 5 years, so we can prove consent and keep honoring an opt-out.
Security
Each customer's data is kept separate from every other customer's data at the database level. Access requires sign-in, and staff with sensitive permissions must use multi-factor authentication. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the business customer as the law requires.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from them. A business customer may record information about children in its care under its own responsibility; the product's addendum says how.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@dcxlogic.com. If the information belongs to a business customer's records, we will pass your request to that customer and help it respond. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will post the new version here and notify account holders by email before it takes effect.

Addendum: HoW (House of Worship)
This addendum adds to the policy above for HoW, at how.dcxlogic.com and in the HoW apps.
- Churches control their members' data. For people in a church's HoW account (members, guests, volunteers, donors), the church decides what it collects and why. We process that information on the church's behalf. For questions about a church's use of your information, contact the church first; we will help it answer you.
- What HoW holds for a church: contact details, household members, attendance, event registrations, group membership, care requests, and giving history.
- Children. A church may record children in its care, such as for check-in, under its own responsibility and with a parent's or guardian's knowledge. Only church staff with a specific permission can see children's records, and HoW never sends a campaign text or email to a child.
- Text messages. Churches text only people who opted in to that church. Every text names the church and says how to stop. Program terms: how.dcxlogic.com/sms-terms.
- Giving. Gifts and payments to a church are processed by Stripe into the church's own Stripe account. We receive only a token, the last four digits, and the payment status.
